Minecraft will download everything after I click play and then when it goes to load the game I get this error code? Why I know it is connecting to the internet with no problem because it downloads everything fine in the little launcher screen.
it also says ended with bad state (exit code 87)

Yeah I have a desktop AMD Graphics card and it didn't work either but I didn't have this problem until I installed Sims 3, which is really weird. I also noticed it did install some network framework for Sims 3 to run though.

Then I'm more so confident that that is the issue, when you run the commands, did you get any sort of error saying so and so file does not exist?
The error seems to be an OpenGL issue, and the only other possible fix I can think of is manually editing the registry.

no I did not I just redid both commands and also deleted the Minecraft and it's .Minecraft folder also and restarted the computer and it still did it. where is the registry entry that I have to edit and what do I do to it? if I have to I will see if uninstalling sims 3 will work.
If you want to go through with it, there are a couple of things I would like to say:
You are doing this at your own discretion.
Changes to the registry can potentially damage your system.
Keep a System Restore point handy before going about.
In that case, if it comes to worst, you can restore your system.
Anyhow, to start; open the "regedit" program from either searching for it through Start, or pressing your Windows + R keys, and in the RUN prompt, typing in "regedit".
In Registry Editor, please browse to the following location:
Here's a quicker fix. If you tried what the guy above did and couldn't find OpenGLVendorName, or if it was just too confusing, run this.
Basicly, whats wrong is that you might have installed a graphics driver and something went wrong and it didnt update the OpenGLVendorName which is crucial for OpenGL(minecraft's graphics and stuff) to run. What this registry file does is it automaticly updates the vendor name to the apropriate name so that OpenGL will work properly. I think this is what it does anyway, xD.
it also says ended with bad state (exit code 87)

Retired StaffIf you're using an AMD graphics card, this article may possibly be your issue.
(This is just a wild assumption of course).

Hi,

In that case, if it comes to worst, you can restore your system.Anyhow, to start; open the "regedit" program from either searching for it through Start, or pressing your Windows + R keys, and in the RUN prompt, typing in "regedit".
In Registry Editor, please browse to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000
You should see a bunch of values pop up on the right, browse down all the way until you find a field called "OpenGLVendorName".
Once you've found that, just paste the output here so we can take a look.
