whenever I try to play minecraft on my desktop computer, the computer starts making a loud noise most likely from the fans. I have a gadget on the desktop of my monitor that tells me the cpu usage. whenever I start playing minecraft the cores start going ballistic!! after a minute or so, both of my monitors black out and the noise keeps going, the blackout & the noise wont stop until I hold the power button on my computer. its super ridiculous and doesn't make any sense to me.

It crashes because your computer is working very hard to run the game, and when it hits a certain limit, it shuts off the computer to prevent damage. Install proper cooling systems to avoid this.
