When i'm underground and mining blocks of any kind the blocks will re-appear unbroken multiple times, take 30 seconds to disappear and sometimes will not drop the resources (ie: cobble stone, coal, iron, ect) or experience points. sometimes the resources will appear a few inches from where i'm mining, then disappear and appear in the correct spot.
i've tried closing out and re-launching the game, as well as rebooting and launching the game; it continues to do it. this only recently started happening with the 1.6.2 update. I've also noticed that when this happens, Creepers and other monsters will move glitchy on screen here is a screen shot of the specs on my game
another issue is i'll place a map in a frame on the wall and the green location dot will appear. when i remove the map from the wall and look at the map in my inventory, the green dot will disappear.
i run the Minecraf app on an HP 2000 Notebook PC; with Windows 8; Java Version 7 Update 25; solo survival mode and connected online.
i tried posting this issue at mojang.atlassian.net but their mod Tails has repeatedly given me the rigmarole on it by claiming its a duplicate issue about zombies. i've contacted Notch and Mojan as well as atlassian's CEOs regarding their tech supports laziness on the issues.
but i really need help with the mining issue because it renders my game non-playable.
- If only on one map u can try MC-Edit to fix the Problem.
(If u have trubel fixing it with MC-Edit on u one, upload u map to an Filehoster and give my the link, i try to fix it for u)
- If its on all maps i wood try to delete MC (make backup of u save folder) and re download it.
- Maybe try an other version of Sun Java. (32 ore / 64bit).
- Look in taskmanager if some other Programs take u CPU Power.(Anti-virus software ors so)

I think that this is a lag problem. Does this happen in all of your worlds?

I believe this is supposed to happen. The green dot represents your location.

Finally, Atlassian is a separate company from Mojang and therefore doesn't control Minecraft development or bug tracking. In addition, do you have a link to the ticket in question?
@ Ritter - thank you for the suggestions but i dont use mods on my minecraft and though i appreciate the offer i dont let people i dont know into my computer.
@ TD Live - its not a lag problem as it only affects the blocks i'm mining. and happens sporadically, but in different places; but happens enough to make the game very unenjoyable and near unplayable.
i also only have two worlds, one created in Jan (which is the world i'm reporting on) and a creative mode that i haven't accessed since June that was created in April.
re-map: yes after some convo on the issue report, i found that the green dot staying on the map was a glitch. a nice glitch but not intended to be part of the vanilla game. i've had that glitch in game since i bought the game, almost a year ago; i dont like losing that marker point as it made exploring much easier, but if wishes were dimes i'd be rich.
the site i reported on is the one linked directly on the launch app. https://mojang.atlassian.net. i assumed that since mojang is in that url, that they are affiliated with the company, or atleast sub contracted to handle tech support and bug tracking. otherwise, why would mojang direct their consumers to that site?
Thought I'd drop this here. Just in case it helps in any way.
Your issue with the blocks breaking is a lag issue, most likely, like TDLive said. Minecraft worlds run on an internal server now, so lag can be an issue.

MC-Edit is not a Mod its a Program to editing Minecraft worlds, special to fixing Problems.
U don´t have to let my on u PC to fix the file. Upload the compress world folder to an filehoster and i fix it.

U sure, for my sound´s like an lag Problem. (We have ones, on our Multi-world server the exact same problem and it was an simple Entity overrun on 3-4 places. (Removing them with MC-Edit and all run smooth again)
