recv failed?

lately everytime I get on a minecraft server it kicks me in about a minute
with the error

Internal exeption: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: recv failed

If anyone can tell me what an recv is, and how to fix this error,
you'd be a great help.

I have been using the normal launcher.

this is what ive tried so far:

1) logging in and out

2) deleting and dounloading minecraft again

nothing has worked yet
