-Friend has a server which I have gone to very very often
-Refortmatted computer
-Weird connection problems when going to his server.
-The majority of public test servers I have tried have worked well with no connection problems.

He has 2 servers.

One is a skyblock (very little terrain). This server I can connect to and spawn, but my Y coordinate slowly sinks. Once it hits 9 I drop out of the server. When I try to connect again, I get (dowloading terrain) until I get a (timed out) message. Deleting my Character.dat on the server files allows me to go through the sinking portion again.

The other server I get a freeze at the (connecting to server) and then (connection timed out: connect)

Both of our routers have been reset, and Friewall is not a problem.
