I recently upgraded my Mac software, and now my son's Minecraft Launcher 1.2 doesn't work anymore! I get this weird bunch of garbled (in my opinion, lol) stuff that ends with this::

Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)
Ignoring visibility rule and showing launcher due to a game crash
Deleting /Users/karixxxxxxxx/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions/1.6.2/1.6.2-natives-1375376826234289000

Then the Minecraft icon shows up (that looks like a wooden box) and quickly disappears... and won't launch. Any ideas?????

I suggest you delete the Minecraft folder on your computer, and then update your LWJGL

http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Update_LWJGL

Then relaunch Minecraft and it should redownload all the proper files and work properly

The new launcher already installs the latest LWJGL version.

The issue you are having is a broken Java installation.
