I need help quick! My friend cant play mc! He has a legit account and has played 1.6.2 before! He has never had this problem till recently! He restarted his pc and now it doesn't work! This all happened during the process of making a minecraft server doing port forwarding! I have tried downloading java and minecraft again! I tried deleting .minecraft but it didn't work! I opened ports and allowed minecraft/unblocked it!
He can not play as in he cant log in! He puts in his information! (Which is correct because he can log into minecraft.net!)

His Java worked prior to this problem! Do you think restarting it did anything? The first thing that happened was t asked him to play offline so he did then he hit log out and now it wont let him log back in!

If hes using ubuntu then his minecraft will only work with the OpenJDK Java 6 runtime not the OpenJDK Java 7 runtime
