Can someone please help me out, here? My minecraft is not starting up.. It will load everything and close the launcher, then the launcher just pops back up and tells me (for 1.6.2):
Game ended with bad state (exit code 1)
Ignoring visibility rule and showing launcher due to a game crash
with 1.5.2 it doesn't even think anything is wrong, but it still crashes the instant it is loaded:
Game ended with no troubles detected (exit code 0)
Following visibility rule and showing launcher as the game has ended
Here is a pastebin of the log when starting 1.6.2. I think the issue is stemming from what this line is saying (but I really have no idea):
Client> Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions\1.6.2\1.6.2-natives-3454342207606\lwjgl.dll: Can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform
I really hope someone can get me some info on fixing this.. And sorry if it has already been covered... I did look through the threads quickly but I didn't see anything similar...
idk than. Was this from the crash.txt file in the crash reports? It could be a graphics driver or something out of date. java could be the problem. Try updating. Or if that still doesn't work try updating the lwjgl

Finally got a chance to respond. This is not from the crash.txt.. I could find no such file. That was copied out of the launcher's dev console. I have tried updating graphics, java and lwjgl (Though I'm not sure really about the lwjgl, seems like that is generated by the launcher as it starts the game? something? idk..)

Ok you will need to go to this link, http://www.oracle.co...ds-1637595.html but first uninstall your current java download. When you go to that link it will come up with lots of java downloads, click on the Windows x86 Offline 16.21MB jre-6u34-windows-i586.exe . Please let me know if this works.
P.S. The reason I am getting you to install an older version of Java is because sometimes Java 7 can be glitch in my opinion so try that download.

Thanks for the suggestions, but it looks like that's a no, too...
This computer is dying... Maybe it's just something unfixable at the moment for me..
The OP is right. Do you have 32-bit or 64-bit Java installed? Looks like MC downloaded the 32-bit LWJGL and tried to load it on your 64-bit box. When you updated lwjgl, did you download the x64 version? On your machine, you shouldn't be downloading stuff marked x86 or 32-bit. I mean, they still work, but not well. Also, did you replace the "natives" folder with the updated one from lwjgl?
P.S Tedster, Macs don't have /AppData/Roaming/ folders.

Aha.. Thankyou! I was so sure that seemed like where the issue lay, but I didn't see any options for downloading 64bit lwjgl when I looked... (Nor where I actually should place it >.>) Think you could help me out one more time to get this going?
Also, yeah, not on a Mac >.< Heh

Did try that once, didn't change anything T-T

Anyways, still got no luck

I knew it had something to do with the Java version
