the new launcher is absolutley terrible. what it does is that it dosent use your custom graphics card. what i did was that i got the magic launcher, it worked as good as the old launcher. (it used my ATI radeon 7670). hope this helped. good luck

since Minecraft is updated to 1.6 i have a lot of lag
How much should I get with this computer specs are about:
Processor: Dual-core CPU 2.00GHz
Memory 3gb ram
32 bit
Grapihcs card: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family
I then had minecraft 1.5 there was around 70 fps and now only 5-30 most of the time it is 25
I have done several things: Game Booster, Optifine (all me settings are on low), Priority high, i change me tp to 16x16.
Can anyone help me I would be very grateful
