Ever since the launcher update to 1.1.1, I can't play minecraft. When the login screen comes, I enter my details and click login but then I get the message that it couldn't connect to the servers. It tells me to make sure that I am online and that my minecraft isn't blocked. I have checked both these thing and nothing is wrong.

You can connect, and the school can't block you.
