I started a new singleplayer game with the seed 878235762112 (for the village/mushroom biome near spawn). I established base at the village quite easily and nighttime came and things started getting weird.
I noticed night time was taking a really long time. The stars were moving slowly. I went outside to check the moon and it was only half way up. A creeper spooked me and I backed away, but the creeper seemed to stay put. A spider hissed at me and started my way - really slowly. The creeper came at me, really slowly too. Around like 1/4 the speed they should, while myself had no trouble with speed or lag at all. But everything in the game was being slow, from mobs to the time itself.
So I restarted minecraft and got back on the map. When I clicked on it, it went back to the homepage for a few seconds (much longer than the normal flash it can do), then went to the map, where I was still having these problems.
None of my other singleplayer maps are having this issue.
