I've been playing Minecraft for a while on Windows, and finally made the switch to Linux. At first I installed Ubuntu, and I had some problems (the same ones I'm having now), but somehow they went away. Now that I'm using Arch, these problems are recurring, and I can't figure out what's wrong! There is a lot of white static floating around, and block textures are clearly malfunctioning. I know my computer is able to run Minecraft, so that shouldn't be an issue, but I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried re-installing, updating LWJGL library (to multiple different versions), deploying OptiFine, and everything else I can think of.
JRE = 7u25 x64

The static seems to not affect the rendering up close, but anything further than a block away is affected. (It may be interesting to know that lwjgl 2.9.0 works a LOT faster, but seems to have more glitching.) Take a close look at the picture of the jungle, it helps show how bad the static is.
By the way, my computer has lag spikes, but it almost seems unrelated to the issue. Like I said above, lwjgl 2.9.0 runs tons faster, but has the same issue. So maybe it's not lwjgl?
