Hi, recently I've been having problem trying to open Minecraft. I'm not sure what is causing it. All of a sudden a few days ago my computer crashed. Now whenever I try to open Minecraft it wont even open. The icon appears for a moment then nothing happens. I've tried re-downloading it several times and it still wont work. Please help

The game launcher, yes, launcher will disappear when you hit play. That should open up the actual game, but that seems not to be the case here.
First, make sure the launcher stays open when you hit play, to do so, open the launcher; press Edit Profile, then check Launcher Visibility, select Keep Launcher Open and finally hit Save Profile.
Then press play, and the launcher should stay.
Now, in the launcher, at the second tab, called 'Development Console' copy all the text, (if you can't select use the control key's; CTRL+A to select CTRL+C to copy) and paste that into a spoiler here so we can take a look.

No I can't open the launcher at all. It shows a loading icon then nothing happens at all.
