I made a world in Minecraft from Alpha v.1.2.3_04, and it's my prized pixelized possesion. Seen it grow up to this point. I've been getting bored lately, and wanting to go find some villages and a stronghold possibly, but since my world is from Alpha, do villages and strongholds and the like spawn in my map? If they don't, do you guys know a way I would be able to get them?
They definitely do! You just need to explore far out areas that you haven't loaded up previously. New terrain will generate as will new structures and mobs such as horses.

Yup they do, its just outside the chunks of where you spawn.
