Recently I have built a new computer which should be able to handle minecraft flawlessly as it can run skyrim on max settings. However, I have been having crashes randomly. I have windows 8 x64 bit, I have newest version of java in 32 bit and 64 bit. I have a new jar version and launcher (deleted and redownloaded them).
When I try to do an error report I get this in the command chain (added pause because it would flash up for a second and close)
Does anyone know how to fix the crash report or what is wrong with my computer?
Sorry, but you've completely confused me.
Why are you trying to launch the launcher with a batfile?
1) To get the error report - http://www.minecraft....net/wiki/Crash - Go to how to get an error report
2) This reply days later didn't help me at all, I already solved the problem by now.

That information no longer applies to the current version of Minecraft.
If you have a crash, it will appear in the development console of the launcher.
To make sure the launcher stays open when you launch the game, do the following:
To make sure the launcher stays open: click Edit Profile, then check Launcher Visibility, select Keep Launcher Open and finally hit Save Profile, and press "Play".
Once you've done that, wait till you get the issue and give us your Development Console logs.
