Hi all, I'm having a bit of a problem converting a map of mine. I have a backup of a map from 1.4.5 that was edited in a bukkit server (the only plugins being worldedit and commandbook). We have in the past converted from bukkit to vanilla; this was not previously a problem. It's a simple matter of lining up the DIM-1 and DIM1 files (which bukkit splits into world_nether and world_the_end), and as our backup was already in the same sort of folder tree format as a singleplayer vanilla save, I figured we had already done so. However, when we try to launch the backup in a singleplayer map, I get stuck on a "Loading world; Converting world" screen that stays there in excess of thirty minutes. Windows task manager says the process is still running, but I never see any progress on the Minecraft window. I'm wondering if there's any suggestions people have out there to fix this.
I'm posting in Unmodified Minecraft Client Support because I'm almost sure this problem has nothing to do with the fact that it was once bukkit. We've successfully converted from bukkit to vanilla before without a hassle. While you shouldn't discount the fact that it was once bukkit, my problem is that the Minecraft client won't convert the map, which I think is separate from being bukkit.
Up next are a couple of screenshots to help visualize my problem. Here's a picture of the folder tree for the save I am trying to convert. If you compare it to any of your own saves you'll notice that there isn't any difference, and opening up those folders only reveals files similar to that of vanilla.
Here's what the Minecraft window gets stuck on. I can't kill it with the x at the top right, but if I "End Task" through Windows Task Manager it closes right away without freezing and Microsoft attempting to find a fix.
Thanks in advance for your help everyone.
OH! I almost forgot- if you kill a javaw.exe *32 process, you can make the launcher pop up. Here's the message it gives:

What are the implications of this? Does this mean any 1.4.5 file I try to convert will fail? It would be nice if you posted some feedback too rather than just "Someone else has had a similar problem."

I have no idea, because I've never seen this bug or a resolution to it. I was simply pointing out that you were not the only person to have such an issue.

Alright then, thank you regardless! I will be on the lookout for any solutions to this problem.
