i cant open minecraft though, it crashes everytime i open it, how do i change the texture pack then?
I also have a mac if that helps, how do i get to the resource pack folder and delete the texture pack from the folder, and put in a new one, or none at all?
1. Hold down the Windows Key and R to bring up the Run dialog. 2. Type in: %appdata%\.minecraft and click Ok. 3. Delete all files except the saves folder. 4. Try launching Minecraft, and see if it crashes.
Or what I did, When That happened, it worked before, I just wanted optifine for 1.8.3, but never used it, and normal minecraft can't handle 128x but optifine can. just move the resource pack (in my case flows 128x) out, start minecraft without the rpack, install optifine next, then move it back in.

It seems like your computer simply can't handle that texture pack.

Yes but my instructions are for Windows and wont work with a Mac.
I'm not sure how to accomplish the same thing with a Mac.
You'll have to wait until someone else is able to instruct you further.
