To preface this, I have a mac, and don't know much about computers.
My problem right now is that Minecraft is running, but is only a black screen. I sent the minecraft app to the trash, so now when I open the launcher, it just says "You can't open this application because it's in the trash," etc. But before I did that, if I opened the launcher, and pressed play, another crafting-table-icon would come up and I could play normally. I still can't quit the first window, though. It can't be force-quit, and it prevents my computer from restarting or shutting down until it's closed.
Please help.
