I loaded up one of my worlds today and where my village keep was there's a massive hole in the ground.



I tried reloading the world and the same thing happens each time. I tried to just chalk it up to bad luck and start rebuilding my keep, but I can't place any blocks in the hole. I even tried to jump in the hole but it's like there's an invisible wall all around the hole.

Is there anyway I can fix this missing chunk or is my entire world screwed now?

I am having the same problem. My missing chunk is a few blocks away from spawn, and I have tried f3+a, Logging in and out, and restarting my computer, but it doesnt fix. I hope this bug gets fixed or someone knows a way to solve this. Now I can't even log into my world, it gets stuck on the loading screen

I have the same problem as well as a chunk nearby w/ a fence that disappears each time I play. It is there, you can't walk through it, and when I rebuild it the fence appears and my inventory does not change. I know you can repair the missing chunk w/ mcedit but what about the issues w/ the nearby chunk?
