Ever since the new client, MC has been strange. I can hop on my server perfectly fine as I always have. And i can also go on the MCSG servers and everythings also fine. But when i try to go on my friends servers, i type in the ip, join, everything is froze, i move around, then a random java message pops up. Someone told me i've been ddosed. This is my first post and much help would be appreciated.

I will need more info to be able to be sure what the issue is. It could possibly an issue with the server itself not handling the update well (check with your friend to make sure his command prompt doesn't show any errors which could be related to this occurence). or it could your minecraft bugging, maybe restarting your computer or minecraft will work. You could install Minecraft and make sure it is clean and has not been modified. A similar occurence has been happening with my sisters laptop, it allows her to connect on my screen but on hers there is nothing. Sorry if this doesnt work but your best bet would to be to just search around and google it.
