i have never posted here before and i cant post in the support forum so i hope this is acceptable
my friend is having a "connection refused: connect" error every time he tried to log into skyblock.net, and as far as i can tell no one else is, there is almost always 400+ people online with a max of 500 and there has been arounf 450 online when he tried, we obviously dont own the server, and there are pleanty of people able to get on meaning they didnt mess up in the portforward, so anyone have any advice?
1. He doesn't have to port forward if hosting on a server, which he is.
2. Ask your friend to run a traceroute, an easy way is using a tool like WinMTR - http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/
Then send that info to the host via the forums.
If it's doing it to your friend it can be doing it to a select few others, this usually happens due to DDOS protection with false positives.
