I'm having a lot of problems when it comes to FPS and even with optifine installed (not currently) i get dramatic spikes and drops in FPS to the point that it varies from 0-30 in an instant and i can barely play without it being so bad that if i get into battle i die instantly... If anyone could provide suggestions on what i could possibly do to improve/fix my FPS/issues that would be GREATLY appriciated.
P.S. I have all my settings constantly at the least strenuous possible ex: tiny render distance, minimal particles, max FPS, clouds off, fog off, bobbing off...
