I have been using the new Minecraft launcher to play Minecraft 1.6.2. I like how the new launcher has the development console so I can see errors and logging information. I also like the profiles so I can use multiple profiles with separate sets of mods. My only problem is with the Minecraft Launcher 1.1.1, it closes automatically every time I start the game (when I click "Play"). I don't like this to happen because I like to look at the development console sometimes while the game is running. I find it much easier rather than to open C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\output-client.log or C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\output-server.log. Is there a way to make the launcher stay open after clicking "Play"? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is a per profile behavior.

Select a profile and edit it.
Check "Launcher Visibility" choose "Keep the launcher open"

It's only me or the new launcher it's not showing the custom profiles?
