Hi, I am new at creating servers, I first tried the bukkit/hamachi server and whenever I tried using hamachi the server I created was out of date 1.5.2 with a red x on it, I have 1.6.2 server and 1.6.2 client installed with latest java updates. I tried using the regular minecraft server to create a server and it say's "can't reach server" with a red x and I have port forwarded on my router and firewall and it still says that, I tried turning my firewall off and no luck. I checked my ip on what is my ip and checked my port forwarding on can you see me and they both are correct.

I enabled java, inbound and outbound ports and minecraft through firewall public and private

Solved: All I had to do was add my localhost ip address instead of the one given on whatsmyip and I was able to join my server
