so i have a HP laptop that was recently upgraded to Windows 8 (i dont know if that's important). Ever since the upgrade, if i try to log into Minecraft 1.6.2 and press play, Minecraft crashes. i pressed "report to mojang" and "Created an Issue" stating what happened. Then, i was sent to this website: http://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/928493-error-bad-video-card-driver
there were three types of drivers for me to download. i didnt know which one would work for hp so i tried all of them. the first one (AMD/ATI) gave me an error after downloading: "We were unable to find your product or OS."
So i tried the second one (Nvidia). Nvidia also gave me an error: "Unfortunately we were unable to detect your GPU." Then i had no choice but to try the last option (Intel). that gave me an error saying, "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software." Since none of this worked, i made another "issue" on that Mojang support site saying that none of this is working... then they said that this is a technical problem and they dont help with that type of stuff... so they sent me here to get help: http://webchat.esper.net/?channels=minecrafthelp
Those people didnt even respond to me!
i've tried watching youtube videos and everything to fix this! nothing is working! i really need help! Than you
