Well, my laucnher is perfect i have 3 GigaBytes alocated to java and 2 profiles, 1.5.2 and another for the last version (1.6.2) when y select the 1.5.2 profile y can login and play online but with the 1.6.2 they are only 2 options:
Log out
Play Offline
and y can play but to enter in a premium server (i have mc premium) it says me bad login, indicating that I am offline.

Have you tried to mod the 1.6.2 version or is it clean? This problem happens alot to me, but can be solved easily by:

Solution 1;

Log out, close the window and relog.

Solution 2;

Make a New Profile with the latest version. And use that.
