Today, I decided to play Minecraft with my friend. Suddenly, my Minecraft started updating, and that confused me, because it was already at 1.5.2. When I opened it, I was shocked to see that the maps were replaced by my maps in my 1.6 Minecraft. I went on my second 1.5 Minecraft, and decided to take the map from there (since I duplicated it from the first 1.5 Minecraft, so it had the same worlds) and put it back in my first 1.5. When checking the world, I realized that my friend and I had spent many hours on the (now deleted) map, so the duplicated one wasn't in date with the real one.
Why did the worlds in 1.6 transfer to the 1.5, and can I get the deleted worlds back?
If your worlds were stored in separate directories they are probably still there. Because your post makes no sense, I can only imagine that you are experiencing this issue because of the changes in the way that the new launcher works. (Whether that be profile confusion, or the fact that the launcher now supports separate game directories per profile, or something else)
Yes, I understand my topic was very difficult to understand. Since I have multiple Minecraft's, I can't find an easy way to explain it. All I know is, on my Minecraft 1.5, the worlds were somehow overwritten by the worlds in my Minecraft 1.6. There's a possibility that it got overwritten because 1.6 got confused by my 1.5 folder, but even if so, I don't know how to restore it.
I really doubt that the worlds were overwritten*. More likely is that for whatever reason the saves directory being displayed is not the one that you expect.
The new launcher supports using Profiles to specify where its saves will be stored.
* Of course if you deleted your .minecraft, then they are gone.

Thanks!
"I went on my second 1.5 Minecraft" - Do you mean the old launcher, or a new profile?
You can get the deleted worlds back if they're still in your trash. Or if you want to pay someone lots of money to restore 'em.
