So the new mineraft update is awesome right! Not for me. I can not log in to the new laucnher for minecraft making me unable to play minecraft completely online or offline. I would be truly grateful if any body could help me fix this problem. This is what tyhe developement console says after i put in my username and password and click play.

My username and password are 100% correct and i have a premium minecraft account. If you need any more information to help me feel free to ask. Thank you in advance.

Well at least I know I'm not alone here. Hopefully a future update will fix this issue.

So i downloaded magic launcher and went to play it, but it only works for 1.5.2 I read the forum for magic launcher and it says you have to start up the game using the vanilla launcher in 1.6.2 to be able to change the magic launcher to 1.6.2, but i cannot start up the game using the vanilla launcher. Hopefully that makes since, but in the end it doesn't work. Thanks for the idea though.

Great news I have found a solution (well i guess i didn't but rather i sent minecraft support and e-mail and got a reply from a great man named Hampus) what you have to do is resync your computers date and time settings. Once they are correct you can now contact the authentication server. Pass on the knowledge so that nobody else will have this problem anymore.
