I played the demo the other day, and other then it seeming to go to the escape menu every 30 to 40 seconds, it worked well on my laptop, so I decided to buy the game. When I try to run it, I get this error: The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Environment installation or the runtime is currputed. The system cannont find the path specified., but when I first bought it the Minecraft.exe was 473 KB, and as of today it is up to 660 KB. I have Windows 7, and was downloading it from http://minecraft.net/download . The only thing I could think of that could be an issue on my end is that I have to use my Library wifi to download it, but I've downloaded other things (such as downloading and reinstalling Java itself) without issues. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Sadly, that did not help. The problem may lay in the fact that I cannot uninstall Java 6 Upadte 15 (64-bit) and Java SE Development Kit 6 Update 15 (64-bit) which are apparently published by Sun Mircosystems, Inc. instead of Oracle, unless that was just a name change. I'll be looking into that and If i can remove them, will try again.
Thanks for the help though.
