Let's get this bit out of the way - I get fps rates of 45-70. I am using Mineshafter, as I wanted to test out the full game before I bought it, to see if my computer would run it fine and smooth. No point in buying a game that you can't play, right? Anyway.. I have a horrible bug that makes it so I can move around, but everything else stops. Let's put it into detail.
Let's say I built a small wheat farm, with 1 sheep around it, and 1 creeper closing in. Everything is going fine. I pull out an iron sword, and begin hitting the creeper. Using attack, back away, attack... etc. But then the sound just cuts off. Nothing. The creeper sits dead still. I can circle him, and he doesn't even give me a glance. The sheep is petrified too. If I try hitting the creeper, no hit marking happens. Then the game goes back into motion again and the creeper ends up exploding in my face. Recollecting my belongings, I start walking. The glitch happens again. Sheep isn't moving. I cut the wheat, and the particle effects fly out, as usual. But nothing drops. So I wait it out, and finally it drops. Going back to pick it up, the glitch happens again, and it won't let me take the wheat. It just sits there bobbing up and down, up and down. I wait patiently again. I finally get it. I cut the rest of the wheat, all fine, no problems. The game glitchs again with me just walking. It doesn't matter what I'm doing ingame, it's going to glitch every 10-15 seconds, lasting about 30 seconds. And my FPS never drops.
I have played 1.5.2, and I have to say, it definitely doesn't glitch this bad, but it still has it. I am asking you guys for help. If this can be fixed, Mojang could get another $27.
As suggested above, try using the official game and not a cracked version which could be the cause of low fps, minecraft is available as a demo from minecraft.net
Do not request support for cracked servers and/or cracked clients
