I got on Minecraft one day on the new launcher 1.0.9 but when I tried to log in it told me username or password was incorrect but when I pressed development console it told me
logging in with username & password
could not log in: cannot contact authentication server
I have the same problem and yes i have used my correct e-mail address and password. It would be awesome if somebody could figure out how to fix this issue.
