I downloaded 1.6.1 upon release. Everything worked fine. I saw that 1.6.2 was out, so I went back to minecraft.net/download to download it, except it was still 1.6.1? This was today, I tried it a few times actually. I basically downloaded the "new" client from www.minecraft.net/download and when I opened it to play Minecraft, it said I was still playing 1.6.1. Please help. I don't know what's going on or why it's doing this.
In the upper right, hit New Profile. In the pop up, change the name to "1.6.2" (or whatever). Modify the "Use Version" to select 1.6.2
Hit Save.
In the upper right, Modify "Profile" to be "1.6.2" or whatever you named it.
Hit Play.
