I haven't been recieving any sound from Minecraft ever since I updated to the new 1.6.1 launcher. There is an error message in the Development Console of the new launcher that mentions sound, but I don't know what it means. I also re-installed java before creating this topic, though it did not seem to help.

I've pasted the entire Development Console log below. (The actual error is near the bottom.)

Could you try deleting your resource folder in your .minecraft folder located in your App Data and then allow minecraft to update itself again.

I completely reinstalled my .minecraft folder, but the same error seems to occur.

No sound plays when I play vanilla minecraft using the Technic Launcher either.

Edit: The sound plays when I load Technic Launcher modpacks though!
