Ok so I just got a new computer its an hp and I ran minecraft and went fine so then when I went into my %appdata% and went into the folder there was no bin folder I used to have a mac but now im using this please help I don't know how do get the bin folder and also there is no texture pack folderwait never mind about the texture pack part
Go to the start menu and search "run". Then click on run and type %appdata%. A folder should come up and the first item in the folder should be .minecraft . Open .minecraft and there should be a bin folder.... if there isnt, then I dont know what to tell you...

Solid info, if it doesn't appear, just reinstall the client.
