Ever since Minecraft updated to 1.6, I wasn't able to play minecraft in browser. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to play it with out downloading it.

If you are playing on a Mac, it's incompatable.
As for the browser on a Pc, I believe your Java is outdated. Try updating, and or contacting Mojang.

What...? I've been playing 1.6 on my Mac since the snapshots for it

As for the browser problem, I believe they removed the browser version of the game.

The browser version for Mac, Java disallows it for some reason. Perhaps the updated it, I don't know. It's been like that for a long time.

(Just curious) Well since 1.6 they removed the link to play the game in browser. Is there still an address you can type in such as minecraft.net/___ ?
