Hey everyone, my name is Kibidiko and I have been having a long term problem with the launcher. I have tried doing some research to see what the problem is but I have not really been able to determine anything nothing comes up in my search. So first off I will describe the problem, and then I will tell you the solutions I have tried taking. (I used to be able to play minecraft in the browser but that option is no longer available)
So whenever I click on the exe file for the launcher (even in 1.6) it would load up and I would not even get to see the log in screen. I would suddenly lose control of my mouse and my computer would lag and the mouse would start to jump all over the screen. As a side note I downloaded the feed the beast launcher and that one works fine. No issue.
I have an updated Java, I deleted my .minecraft folder and re downloaded the launcher. I also tried running in the different compatibility modes. When I played minecraft in the browser there was no issue and my computer should have no problem running the game. I have tried using alternate mice. Sadly I only have access to this laptop and would like to have a solution. Thanks very much -Kibidiko
You really don't need to bump a topic this early, and only post bump once. It's spam if you keep saying it. It's only about a day old. Be patient.
If you really can't use the new launcher, I reccomend using a 3rd party client, such as MagicLauncher. Mojang support is always there if you need help right away.
