I had a feeling you would not quote me, anyways your system looks fine. However, many people have had problems with the new launcher. I would just keep up on the threads in the support section and just see if there is a fix that comes out soon. But for the meantime just turn down the video settings
Please post specs for your machine. Or a DXDIag would be awesome

Your system is really outdated (Core architecture). The best thing you can do short of a new PC is picking up a cheap graphics card such as a 6670.
