New Launcher Bug

Whenever I use the new launcher, no matter what profile I have selected, it says play offline instead of play. Is this a bug or do I need to change something?

Happens to me too. You should probably report it at the Mojira bug page, but someone might have snatched it by now.

this has been reported many times. Unless one of the servers are down, there should be a log out button next to "Play Offline." Log out and they login and play.
