I went into my .minecraft folder and i see that my bin folder is gone. I want to get it back so I can download mods but i don't know how to restore it. Help is greatly appreciated, thank you for reading.
You are correct. If you are looking for the .jar, go into .minecraft>versions>[Version you want to mod]. Modding has become trickier, watch a video on how to mod 1.6.
