Use the new minecraft launcher.
Here's the instructions: 1. Open up the launcher(duh) 2. Click Profile Editor. 3. Right click and choose Add Profile. 4. Click the dropdown box with Use Latest Version selected. 5. Switch it to 1.5.2 or 1.5.1. 6. Edit the other options the way you want. 7. Click Save Profile, Login and then click Play! *Note: It can take a long time to install whatever version you selected so please be patient.
