We have 4 computers in this house with 4 minecraft accounts. My computer is the only one in this house having this issue, so that rules out a lot of possibilities...
Let me explain whats happening. Minecraft works fine in single player and multiplayer on other servers. There is one server I've been trying to get on and only my computer has issues after connecting to it. I get logged in, and some of the screen loads, not usually all of it. I'll see messages from the server, but otherwise the game is frozen. Minecraft stops responding. If I go ahead and let it continue to run, then occasionally the screen will change like some kinda super extreme lag. Why are the other three computers in this house able to connect to the same server and not have this issue? Why can this computer connect to other servers beside this one and not have an issue?
Does this make any sense to anyone? I'm getting bad headaches searching the internet for someone with this same problem...
The one that isn't working is running the same stuff as two of the others that are working. Assuming to be using the normal launcher because I know nothing about a magic launcher.
I just went to two of the computers and had those users log into the server and watched them move around and have no issue. After that I had them exit minecraft and restart it and then I logged in with my account info and then into the same server and both times it did the same thing it does on my computer.
While I'm happy that the issue isn't my computer... I'm not happy to have such a strange issue. I'm new to minecraft on PC, and its important that I get on this particular server.
