PLEASE HELP ME

When i downloaded the new launcher For some reason i am getting VERY LOW FPS. In the new launcher I used to get 100 to 150 fps.
DOES ANYONE know what the problem is? i need help FAST.
Also i get the fps problems in 1.6 and 1.5.2
My computer is a intel core i7 proccesor and it is hp with windows 8

P.S Im lucky to get even 30 or 20 fps

He means when he uses the new launcher, no matter what version he runs in the new launcher, his frame-rate sucks. There is a bug in Intel GPU drivers that causes lag on the new launcher. See the others similar threads for more info.

I found a fix for it. I'm using a mac and having the same problem. If you want to remove the lag and keep the same launcher make your minecraft fullscreen. It works for me. Hope this helps!

I'm having a similar problem. Version doesn't matter at all. So, on the old launcher my fps were pretty much ALWAYS 60. Now I'm ranging from 40-80. Even if it's at 70+ it seems to be around 30-40. I'll try some of the things suggested above, hope they work.
