Hi, when the new launcher came out , i thought it would support my mods, but it didn't and i had already deleted my old launcher, and i cant find it on the internet. if u have it for mac, just email it to me.

im not sure if this helps for your mods, but when you launch the 1.6.1 launcher, before you press play, you can press on edit profile, at use version, change latest version to 1.5.2, than you can start minecraft in 1.5.2, i hope this works, cuz i couldnt find a mac os 1.5.2 download for you
