I am running Minecraft on a Mac with OSX 10.5.8 and I cannot use Minecraft 1.6.1 because of the new client.
However, I tried to find a way to make it work and, in the process, decided to uninstall and reinstall the game. And, in the midst of that process, whenever I try to login to Minecraft it says "can't connect to minecraft.net" whenever it tries to download the game.
Can anybody point me where to go to get the game files and/or where to download the full game without having to download them through the old client?
