I've gotten it to show up in the menu as follows, but clicking on it does absolutely nothing except causing a brief freeze, it doesn't load the pack at all. It worked fine in 1.5.2 and I ran it through the converter program, and already solved a couple errors regarding out-of-bounds animations I saw in the console, but it still won't select it.
When you say you've gotten it to show up in the menu, does that mean you were having trouble doing that before and you solved the problem? Because I'm currently having trouble getting any resource packs to show up in the menu at all.
No, I haven't solved the problem at all - clicking on the pack in the menu doesn't seem to do anything whatsoever and it stays on default, unfortunately.
The way I got it to show up in the first place is renaming the folder, it should be /resourcepacks and not /texturepacks now.
If it were just an issue with having the wrong names for things, it should still load the pack and just fail to show the textures for those blocks correctly, if I'm not mistaken...
The console reads like this:

Here's a link to the broken pack I've been working on. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uelkdhtwb0qk754/SburbCraft Resource 1.6 (BUGGED).zip
