Earlier today I posted a bug I noticed while using the resource pack of Ovo's Rustic Redemption in 1.6.1 in the pack's topic. After further testing, I realized the issue occurs with several different resource packs, not just Ovo's Rustic Redemption. The bug I am experiencing is that after quitting Minecraft with a resource pack selected and then logging back in, all text graphics appear jumbled together to the point that they are almost unreadable. Quitting the game and launcher and logging back in doesn't resolve the issue; I have to select the default pack and then restart to fix it. After doing that, I can select a resource pack without the text issue, but logging out will cause it to happen again upon logging back in. I'm not sure if this is a glitch with 1.6 or a problem with my computer. If anyone has any information, please let me know.

Edit: Two important things to note:

1. This bug occurred neither in any previous version of Minecraft, nor with the old launcher.
2. For Ovo's pack, I used the newest version for 1.6 straight from the topic, while the other packs were converted from the 1.5 format. Even so, the issue occurred with all.
