Does anyone know how to downgrade Minecraft 1.6.1 to 1.5.2? I deleted the old launcher and downloaded the new launcher to install 1.6.1, but now I thought that it isn't a good update and it is buggy. I want to downgrade Minecraft to 1.5.2, but now I have the new launcher, so it only installs 1.6.1 I think even if you make a backup of 1.5.2 and put it into your Minecraft folder. Please help me. I really want to get 1.5.2 again. I am on an iMac. Thanks!
What are you talking about not being able to downgrade? I did it just fine. Make a new profile, and click the version dropdown, then scroll to 1.5.2. It's that simple.
