Given new launcher however, you will find it in a folder path (sorry this is windows, I do not have a OSX virtual machine or dual boot at moment) libraries\org\lwjgl\lwjgl\lwjgl\2.9.0.
You only need to replace or should need to replace LWJGL.jar
This folder is in the minecraft folder located in ~/Library/Application Support

I tried that, and it didn't work. Btw, what exactly do you mean by "unstable"?
Nightly Builds means it may have unfinished work or fixes as well it could have bugs that are not really intended.
Basically consider it "bleeding edge" builds. It is not supported nor really offical released yet.
Sorry to hear it did not work, it was only method I knew most could tried. I guess since it did not work then people with OSX 10.5 will sadly have to wait for a offical release of LWGJL 2.9.1.

mac specs: version 10.5.8
plz help!
It is a LWJGL issue in 2.9.0. They are proposed to fix it in 2.9.1.
https://github.com/L...lwjgl/issues/36
https://mojang.atlas...omment-tabpanel
Or if you want to try latest nightly LWJGL then you can get that here, which is 2.9.1 but may be unstable.
http://ci.newdawnsoftware.com/job/LWJGL-git-dist/
If you read what I wrote, its NOTHING Mojang did, its a screw-up with LWJGL devs mistakenly putting in 10.6 OSX apis instead 10.5 OSX apis.
OpenGL, aka your graphics, as well OpenAL which is audio.
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Update_LWJGL
All information needed is there.

Yeah, does anybody know when LWJGL 2.9.1 will come out?
You can try the nightly build and see if it works. It is 2.9.1 but it can be unstable, however the fixes needed are no doubt applied.
