Problem-
Minecraft randomly closes after using about 2gb of "Memory (private working set)"
More info-
I bought a new laptop about a month ago and it ran minecraft perfectly at far and fancy with 200+ fps. That was until recently when i started to install different mods using forge . after using forge for about a week minecraft started making my laptop overheat like crazy and then minecraft would just randomly close with no crash screen or error report. i thought it might be a problem with one of my mods so i switched over to a clean jar, but the same thing happened. I eventually decided that i would open task manager and see how much it was using my laptop, i found out that when i first open minecraft the "memory (private working set)" uses about 1,500,000 k but when i go into a game it uses about 2,000,000 and continues to rise until minecraft just closes without warning.
Laptop specs-
CPU:Core i5 3230M 2.6 GHz OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit RAM: 8 GB DDR3 HD: 750 GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive GC: NVIDIA GeForce GT650M
This can also happen if you're making massive edits or building large structures with improper tools or rather should I say with tools that use an improper method.
Take 'worldedit/spc' versus 'mcedit' for example: worldedit doesn't reconfigure light values after making changes whereas mcedit does and that makes all the difference in the world, it really matters a lot.
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Nope.. but i do have a mod that makes extreme bioms i don't know if that would effect it though

If MC isn't choosing the correct Java by itself, you can try using the new launcher's ability to select the JVM via editing your profiles.
when i switch to far render distance it doesn't say a 64 bit java is recommended anymore
