about two days ago, i managed to get my external 60GB drive to boot Win8 and run the memory off of my 1TB drive, both are external. So i went and installed everything i needed driver wise and other stuff like Java, i copied my .minecraft to my external and ran minecraft fine for the rest of the day and the next day until about last night, around that time, everytime i opened chat, a furnace, a chest, my inventory, pressed ESC went into option anything that effected the GUI at all lagged my game for about 5 seconds, I have 1 GB allocated for ram, thats all i can do, and also i did a test with the Linux version of minecraft so i could have the console, i noticed that i could type in chat, and press enter before my minecraft screen could render it, and see it on the console, then seconds later it came up in console, so i figured out that its something with the game displaying the GUI not the game itself, it anyone has anything to help me at all i would really really appreciate it.
